As Captain Ibanez explains in his "How to read an Ibanez serial number" thread, Z refers at Yeou Chern Factory.
Is that a Chinese factory? Yes, indeed. But there also seems to be an office in Taiwan.

Take a look at the brands they do OEM production for.

AND LOOK AT THE ORTHOGRAPHY OF THE FAMOUS GIBSON SISTER BRAND: THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW FOR WHICH COMPANY THEY'RE WORKING. AND I THINK THEY DON'T CARE, AS LONG AS THEY GET PAID.

Just wait for these "EHIPHINE" headstock inlays to appear in the shops and BUY THEM before Gibson finds out!
Speaking about collectibles, these would be like misprinted stamps.
