Specific specs for GB-10 pickups

Author Message   Rguit Username: Rguit Registered: 10-2005 Posted on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 - 5:22 pm:    I know I probably posted this before and apologize if I have, but does anyone know for sure what the DC resistance and Alnico magnet type used on the floating GB-10 humbucker is, especially the neck position ?? I have heard that an Alnico 3 magnet was utilized but I am quite sure the resistance is higher than a stock Johnny Smith pickup even though they look the same. Its really suprising, they must be the loudest pickups I have on any guitar I own, including my Seymour Duncan's Seth lover, jazz model pickup and I have a gibson 57 classic on another ibanez copy, I own the JSM which has the Super 58's which definetely are not as HOT as these GB floaters. Any comments would be appreciated, Thx
