The 83 model has a nice neck profile. The 82's have pointy ears and a thinner neck, while the 83's have rounded ears and thicker neck. Was this a factory change? But, im interseted in a player. I want a good guitar. For a fair price. One that i can take out 2-3 nights a week and attack. My Rick 360 looks like it has been dragged from a truck, and i luv her for it. That being said. If possible, go to a music store and give it a try. I know that these older guitars have their good features but you can have a new guitar (or a near new) at the same or lower price.
