So I'm selling my other 2630....

The Ibanez 2630 Artist is the daddy of the John Scofield preferred AS200 and the grandaddy
of the newer Ibanez JSM100VT Scofield signature guitar. In '79 this was Ibanez's top of the line
semi-hollowbody guitar.

The body includes front and back binding (even the F holes have binding). The neck is adorned
with gorgeous mother of pearl inlays. This particular 2630 has the best flaming of any I have even seen.
It has Ibanez “Flying Fingers” Super 80 Humbuckers, and there is a 3 way mini toggle
switch for series/split/parallel sounds from the bridge pickup, a 3 way pickup selector switch.
There are bridge and neck pickup volume pots (2) and bridge and neck tone controls (2). This
guitar came from the factory with LOCKING TUNERS. The pickguard can also be removed for a more
natural look. This is a fantastic playing and sounding guitar.

Considering the age, this guitar is in incredible shape. Some of the metal has a small amount of
oxidation and body has very minor finish checking, but these do not effect the guitar's sound or playability. Also, there is a small dent on the front of the top horn that can barely be seen in the pictures and lastly there are a couple really tiny chips on the back of the headstock. In my opinion, the guitar is in just the right shape. I say this because it has just enough wear to which you can feel comfortable playing it, but still will make people drool. I have recently had the guitar completely checked out, restrung,
and set up by a local Annapolis luthier. It has a totally clean bill of health and sounds phenomenal.

The guitar comes with an old Gibson 335 HSC that fits like a glove. As you can see in the pictures,
the case has a combo lock, a hot pink interior and is a little beat up. It looks pretty darn cool if you ask me. Email if you need other pictures. No zero feedback or excessive negative bidding without an email first. Insurance is required and is included in the cost of shipping. International bidders email me before bidding. International bidders are responsible for all additional shipping charges including duties and taxes. Ask questions before bidding. Don't bid if you're not prepared to buy. This is a GREAT guitar.....that I'm having a hard time parting with. I sold my other 2630 on here a couple months ago, but this one is in way better shape with more intense flaming. This guitar will blow you
away.

Last, it's on eBay. Just type Ibanez 2630 in the search function.
