Type and/or dating please? Anyone? I have to move fast! I've been browsing all evening, but can't ID her! It's a pretty bad one, frontal only. Looks like an LR-10, but nothing on the truss rod cover, and a G*bson crown (or 'star', with point down) added on the (unbound) headstock. Can't find any AS100 with a headstock shape like that AND the 'star'. Photo doesn't show S/N or wether she's hollow or semi... The headstock is all I've got to go on. Slightly pointier ears, bare Humbuckers. Juha   Gemberbier Username: Gemberbier Registered: 5-2006 Posted on Thursday, November 22, 2007 - 8:52 am:    If the serial number starts with H (Terada numbering), most likely H9 it's probably an Artstar AS100 from 1989. If it starts with S, C or just a digit it's an Artstar AS80. AS50 with V-2s is before the ArtStar series, so with a Artist castle headstock. The newer Korean one from the Artstar series was a bolt-on mostly in amber. Oh, and what is also still open is AS180 (about 1997), wrong colour though. I'll look in my e-mail for a picture of the AS100 from Pat. I know we communicated about that one, but i must look it up. Could have done it without pics, just on the numbers. Oh, I just found it and of course... I should have thought of that until 1996 the Artstars had narrow headstocks, so it is between the Arstars AS80, AS180 and AS50 (bolt-on) and the real Riternauer of course, but I guess not, btw the AS180 has a trisound switch.   Dutchk9 Username: Dutchk9 Registered: 11-2007 Posted on Thursday, November 22, 2007 - 9:10 am:    ... can't check S/N, cause I only have a bad pic. Juha's probably right about the finish, could be a red photo of SB. Head and neck are AS-80 (1998), PU's could be (black) V2's. I give up. Thanks for trying guys.
