Ibanez Pm20, which factory is made?

Im very happy with this guitar im just curious, the serial is difficult to understand because is handwritten. S/n: S100004 or 7100004 thanks for the help, and we kept in touch (sorry my english!)   Gemberbier Username: Gemberbier Registered: 5-2006 Posted on Friday, November 23, 2007 - 8:46 am:    Welcome Simonarg, Handwritten serial numbers that are difficult to decipher are most often from the Cort factory in particular around 1997, when the deedn't seem to be in possession of a stamp in time. I read somewhere on ICW that Jim Donahue gave the order to write those numbers, because production continued and they couldn't wait for that stamp. But the guy who wrote them had a terrible hand. So I think it's from the same year as my Artstar AS120, which was 1997, so then the first character is to be considered as a 7. For serial number 7100004 this would mean: 1997, October, production number 0004. To check if this is correct, you should look in the 1997 catalogue on www.meinl.de http://www.t3-kundenserver.de/htmlpages/redasys/_c ore/databases/t_meinl-uploads/1997_gesamt.pdf And you will see that the model was in production then. Check all features with the picture and the spec list. I'm actually quite confident that 1997 is correct, I've struggled a long time with my own handwritten serial number.
