Hi.....I'm new to the site, and have bought a used blonde GB10. Could someone tell me what year it was made? The serial number is CE F9910986. It has a bone/brass nut, and does not have the "George Benson" logo on the fretboard. Why is there variability on the existence of these two features? Thank you very much for the help. - Bob

Related question: Anyone have info on which years Japanese GB10s didn't have the GB name on the 21st fret?

Seem to be made in 1999, maybe ibanez faced the y2k bug ...

for the inlay, you can try the photos on http://www.ibanezregister.com/ in the galery section. It may give indications.

Thank you for the info. So it was just a one year run? ...or did it last longer?

Mine is a 1979 and doesn't have the GB inlay on the 21st fret.
