I believe blond AM66s are quite rare, you may not want to "mod" it if it is in good shape.

Acetan....no modding this time...only i will replace the bridge with a Schaller 455 model which is the same as the orginal Ibanez one...the saddles are a bit worn out and have sharp edges and are a bit to high, this disturbs when playing.

Stony2004 i think these pick-ups are super "58" they sound very good.

sorry about the pics but since i have this new DigiCam i can't get them under 100k....will try the shoot the guitar with my old Digicm this week.

Artfield:

Are you on a PC? If so, go to http://www.faststone.org/ and pick up FastStone Image Viewer 2.0.5. It's free and pretty easy to use. You can crop unnecessary parts off the image, reduce the size (in pixels) and then save as JPEG with enough compression to get great images below 50k in size.

Let me know if you need any more help.

And if you are on a Mac, you can use Graphic Converter from lemkesoft.com. File -> Convert & Modify -> Set "dest. format" to jpeg/jfif, click options and set quality to 65, navigate to your files and click "convert"

You can also click "edit batches" and set a max size for the photos. This utility is very useful for batch converting a folder containing several images for use on the web.

Hi Artfield,

yeah, shure a nice one! I have an AM67(!) that looks exactely the same (same color, same short-stop) I´m interested what kind of nut your AM has.
Once again to the PUs: I have a AM200 with Super 58 and my AM67 PUs sound very different, much more output and a sharper edgier sound...

Stony,

You're probably hearing the difference between maple and mahogany. They should both have Super 58s.

Artfield. Congratulations on your find. I would heartily recommend the TonePros wraparound bridge as an alternate to the schaller - sustain for days...
