Which one better for jazz?? I'm looking for warm, mellow, smooth tone.. something like gibson herb ellis.. Which one sound alike?
or Should I get the AF105 ?? the AG75 have nearly the same wood spec as the gibson except the maple/poplar/maple lamination.. what the ibanez use for the artcore plywood??

I have played them back to back, and the AG75 is much darker sounding to me. In fack, the first time I played one, I said "now that's a jazz sound!" - bringing to mind Pat Metheny and Jim Hall. The AK has a little more twang, more of a Herb Ellis or Kenny Burrell kind of bright jazz sound.

AK75:
3pc Artcore Mahogany/Maple neck
Spruce top/Sycamore back & sides

AG75:
Artcore Mahogany neck
Maple top/back/sides

If there is any way you can track down an AG195, I highly recommend this guitar!

Yeah.. but the AG195 is like 2.5 times the price as the normal artcore... is the any differences with the wood quality used(like fender AM standard and highway) or it just the playability factor?? but I could pay someone to set up the guitar and the price still will be cheaper..
the other thing is the super 58 pickups.. Which I could find one...
thanks

I know it's a much more expensive guitar, but man, it's such a winner in my book. $700 is a bargain for this guitar. You could probably get an AG75 close with a good fret dress, and new pickups, but you'd have spent the same amount of money.
