Hi guys,
What do you think about this auction?

http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item= 140102260360&indexURL=1#ebayphotohosting

It seems to me that the tuners are different from those seen in some pictures posted in this site and, I don't know if it is relevant, it is missed the inscription "Crafted in Japan" in the back of the headstock.

What is your opinion?

Ziocesco, the tuners look original to me. That is one nice looking AS50. I have two 81 AS50's that I love. Unfortunately, I am selling one to buy something else. I may regret my decision one day, but I want to try something else.

My recommendation is to buy...

the price is surely attractive.

As far as tuners are concerned, I found this discrepancy (but I do not know if it means something).

These tuners were definitely used in 1980. I have them on my 1980 Studio ST50. Yours is 1981. That could explain it.
