This guitar and case are exactly the same as mine, except for the headstock shape. (Mine is a 1976).
It is as beautiful as the one in Germany, that Harry Tristan and I hunted for. That one went for 1110 euros, which was about $1410,- and there was no OHSC involved then, was there?

But: the PRESENTATION sucks! They say it's a Barney Kessel. And I read that many of us find the Barney Kessel model ugly. This is a NATURAL FLAME MAPLE ES-175 type. No Barney, no Herb, no Joe, no George, no more, no less.

It is WANTED as it IS. IMHO one of the most beautiful ES-175 replicas available. I immediately fell in love when I saw mine (with the Guild tulip headstock) in 2003.

Unbelievable, it went for only $790.-
That's only €590.- for a 1975 open book headstock flame maple Ibanez 2355m with OHSC. That's a real bargain.

The one Harry, Tristan and I were after in Germany was NOT BETTER, I don't even remember if it had an OSHC. But I know it went for €1110.-

At least he's showing that he knows what it's worth.
I prefer the natural flame maple, but that's personal.

They are good jazz boxes.

I've seen two all original jazz boxes with OHSC go for a fraction of the real value: this one PLUS an AM-50.
