Used to be my "Holy Grail", only if it came 18 months sooner.

Would it sound a lot different than say an AS120? Which one would you leep if you could only have one?

hazy, i had an AM400 and an AS200. completely different guitars. the AM400 is more a solidbody with a tonal chamber, it has a carved mahogany body with a birdseye maple top. the body is significantly thinner than the other AMS. so, nothing to do with a big 335-like semi - although it's a marvellous instrument. properly stringed can release nice, warm jazzy tones with the neck pickup.
another nice feature is its featherlight weight and contoured back, making it extremely confortable to play.

A friend and ex-colleague of mine has one (also in WHITE, which is quite distinguished). If you are sick and tired of the weight your "other solid mahogany body with maple top" that's pressing the strap deeper and deeper into your shoulder, this is one to avoid a sour shoulder and a hernia. It's his favourite and he has quite a few Paulas.
