some people already mentioned it and with the news that its gonna be all Korean and China made. Its now reality.
Prices of all the Japanese made models will rise...this is a good example...its a beauty but i have seen this guitar sold much cheaper just a couple of months ago...honestly i agreed with the seller thats its worth the price...

so lucky Ibanez (japanese made owners) we have gone vintage...especially the AM guys ...

I think 750 is a bit much for an AM50.

Then you REALLY love this Ibanez AM50 auction going off on 9/3/05 at $860 (plus $40 shipping)!

NINE bidders got it up that high.

I was one of those bidders! The high bidder must have really really wanted that axe!

I'm still on the hunt for an AM50 if anyone is interested in selling. joshhobbs@bellsouth.net

Were pick guard's an option on the AM50? All that I have seen, including mine are without.

That is interesting, one reason I like the AM-50 is because it has no pickguard. Removing a pickguard leaves one with multiple holes in the top and side of an axe, which isn't all that great. Maybe I'm picky, the world may never know...
