hi, I am an italian guy that have an Ibanez AM100. In the last day I have found one site who listed all the AM Artstar guitars.

http://www.speakeasy.org/~sven/site/

In this list I read that the available finish for AM100 is only the MB (Metallic Black), but the my guitar is AV!!
This is an error of the site, or is my guitar to being strange?

sorry for my bad, bad english and thanks for all answers

Hi,

That is my web site. I have seen a few AM100s in AV in Europe. It must have only been available there. The strange thing about this is that the only difference between an AM100 and an AM50 is that the AM50 has an AV finish. Why they did not call these European AM100s AM50s I do not know.

hi,

effectively AM50 is much similar to my AM100. The only difference between they seems to be the color of the plastic around pickups (mine is beige) and moreover my AM100 has the "paraplettro" (I do not know translate this!) that in the AM50 it seems it are not to us...

The AM100 reminds me of an Oreo cookie :-)

The European market is different from the US, but AM50 prices have really gone off in the last year. They were $400 2 years ago, now they're close to $800. Black AM100s are closer to $400. Since your AM100 has a burst finish, it would be closer in value to the AM50 if you used a little keyword spam.

That is definitely an inventive solution. I never would have thought to do that.
