Hello.
I am new to this board. I have and AS-50 and I want to replace the pickups. I have replaced pickups on standard electric guitars but I am stumped on how to procede in the case of the AS-50. There is no way to get inside the guitar. How do you go about doing the sodering and wiriring work in a guitar like this.

Thanks.

I've never done it myself, but the advice from those that have is to take off the control knobs, tie a length of string to the pot posts, loosen the nut and feed the pots thru the f-hole, making sure not to let the string fall thru. Do your soldering, etc., then pull the string to get the pot back thru the holes. Replace nut, tighten and replace knob.

I think 50 feet of string would assure some safety
