...for an AM50. There's one happy seller.

Gosh, no kidding. I tried to make a bid on it, but it escalated out of sight. I've also tried to bid on an elusive Yamaha SAS1500 but the seller keeps ending the auction early. Oh well...

I was waiting to snipe that Yamaha also but it never got that far. It is beginning to smell fishy and I'm going to pass next time it is up.

Yeah, did you notice how many times he listed that same ad? I followed 4 of his auctions. I think it was the second one that had a winning bid. However, the winner apparently sent the guitar back due to a faulty solder job on pickup wiring. I wonder who ended up with that guitar.

FYI..."Gentle Mountain" has re-listed the SAS1500 again.

Very nice guitar! Here's the ICW friendly version of the ebay URL. Please use it if possible.

If you check out sellers other items for sale there is a Gibson L5 and in one of the pics there is an old Ibanez Artist acoustic with a large castle headstock.

Very eclectic collection. I still have a crick in my neck from staring at his sideways hanging Artist acoustic.

Unbelievable. The seller terminated the auction (for the SAS1500) again; for the 5th time. It seems that e-Bay should reflect this (negatively) in his seller rating. Oh well, at least no one lost any money on his antics...I hope.

It appears that the seller would end the auction if the bidding is not "eager" enough for him. If he has a reserve price of around a thousand dollars, then each auction would cost him at least $30 in fees. So long he is willing to pay that, I don't think eBay would mind at all.

Just noticed that the Buy-it-now price is $900. I don't think he would have any problem getting that if he just let the auction run its course. It is strange.

Wow, didn't realize he get's dinged every time he ends it early. Oh well, whatcha gonna do?

It is a shame though. That model is very rare in the U.S. I was jonesing for that guitar, but after bidding a few times only to have the auctions terminated before completion, I have lost interest.

Did anyone notice the tweed Bassman sitting on the floor? I wonder what he'd want for that?

I believe that's a Kendricks amp and cab that he also had for auction. He ended that one early, too.

Oh yeah I see it now. I got excited there for a minute. In saying that, the Kendrick is a great amp and cheaper than an original.
