I guess this is probably the most unpopular Ibanez relic, but I own one, so I'm a little biased. Nice tone and fast necks on the HR guitars :-)

Despite the "restoration" work, the starting price is not a bad deal. Whaddaya think?

I think the 7-ply binding and the tailpiece are the main differences from the Ibanez. You couldn't tell the difference if you're eyes were closed...at least I'd like to think so. ;)

Looks like the Gibby gets the vote, 19 / zip as of 2:50PM EST. I guess the alterations are hurting the Ibanez sale?

There are 3 more guitars listed as Ibanez HR:

Is the third one really an Ibanez? No star tuners or open book headstock on that one, and I've never seen one with the Guild headstock.

I don't think the first one or the third one are Ibanez brand. The first one convienently has no picture of the headstock (whats up with that ?) and the third one has a Memphis shaped headstock-a shape that Ibanez never used.

Oh dear what a shame. And it's in wine too!

Do you think this would look good in black?
