Looks very nice to me!

Here's the ICW-friendly version of the ebay URL. Please use it to place bids, if possible:

Why the private auction? Always makes me a little reserved..

I just called my buddy and told him to take off the the private listing. I figured if one person has reserves about it other people will too.

Bedwards:

Give it time. 10 days very long for an auction. Many experienced ebayers, don't bid until near the end of an auction. This can flip some sellers out, thinking they are going to "lose" their item for cheap. But that's why they allow reserves.

Let it ride!

I see John Im interested to see how much it goes for because I have the same FA 100 that was given to me by my Grandfather before he died. He took really good care of it. The guy that is selling his I met him at the local music store while he was getting it serviced and Ibanez guitars make you want to talk to fellow owners. He can sell his but I wont be selling mine. LOL.

I won that auction...I put in a bid with 12 hours left and was suprised to wake up this morning having won the auction. I actually had decided I was going to buy a 175, which I might still do, but I'll see how the FA-100 treats me. If I'm not totally sold on it I think I won't have much trouble selling it. An auction with a better worded title and higher quality pictures would probably make it sell pretty easily if I decide I don't want it...the funny part is I really wanted a 2355, I'm not even sure why I bid on this! :-)

That's good to hear...I was really looking for an older 2355 if I went the Ibanez route, and I have my concerns about a birch body and a maple neck, but I'm sure it plays great. At least I'll see what the FA-100 is all about and it will certainly be a step up from my AF-120...looking forward to seeing it! Why do all my auctions involve bi-coastal transactions!?!?!

Was there any damage to the guitar?

According to the last owner of my Artfield, it arrived at his door in the hands of the mailman. It was packed in just the guitar case, with a label on it...all the way from the far east!

Did you take a picture of it for our "Shipping Hall of Shame"?
