There is a Kopy Kat guitar on e-Bay being advertised as an Ibanez. Do any of you know if Ibanez Japan could have produced this model?

I can't explain why, but to me this is one of the nicer ES-175 copies I have seen on e-Bay. In particular, I think the body shape is fantastic and maple seems to have a very nice flame.

Sure wish I could play one.

Wildfield:

This one is very hard to say. I've never seen the Kopy Kat name or logo. It is a beauty, though.

Here's the ICW-friendly version of the URL:

John,

Thanks for the info. I also see there is another "lawsuit" model on e-Bay currently. Nice burst finish with an L5 tailpiece but with a 175ish body (presumably 16" lower bout w/florentine cutaway). Looks a little like a Gibson L4.

So many guitars...so little money. :-)

Thanks again for the info.

Darryl
