Sound file comparisons of 12 hollow/semi-hollows playing the same riff on the same amp. Can you tell which is which? The answer is on page 2 of the post.

Included is an interesting clip of an Ibanez with GFS Retrotron Nashville pickups. GFS pickups seem to cheap to be true but are getting some good reviews out there.

i'm such a geek.. i LOVED that comparison thing even though i couldn't tell which was which. interesting stuff.

also interesting- those GFS pickups. i agree with your 'too cheap to be true' feeling, but who knows!? i thought my artcore would be the same way and it's the guitar that gets the most play out of my small fleet by far.

good things can come in cheap packages.
