I've recently got one of these,

http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/guitar.asp?model=AFS78T

and I'm very happy with it, however I'm a bit unsure about what gauge of strings are factory fitted. They feel ok to me so I'd like to stick with the same guage when I replace them very soon. The doc that came with the guitar says that all Artcore guitars use 10-46, yet they feel a bit heavier to me, like 11's. Am I wrong?

Thanks.

Nobster:

I'm not sure that you'll get a definitive answer. If the documentation says it came with 10s, I'd tend to believe it. But it is possible that the spec changed and the documentation wasn't reprinted.

If you want to know for sure, you could get a micrometer. I used one yesterday when changing strings to see what was on the guitar last time (I've been going back and forth from 9s and 10s). The mic was right on 10, so I knew for sure.
