I was wondering how do you guys keep the wires inside your archtops tight/organised?
It seems that there is wire "enought for two" guitas inside my AF, and sometimes it rattles. It's very anoying. I thought in using some type of 'hook and loop cable ties' but thought I would check here first for any tips.

Thanks a lot in advance.

If the wires get to bouncing around in your archtop, simply (and gently) wrap them in a loose bundle with black electrical tape. But be careful not to put too much tension on them or they'll pull away from their soldered anchor points.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much, Tim. I'll try it.

You think it's better with tape than with 'hook and loop cables ties'?

They look huge on the pic... actually they're very small...

Those look cool. Are they plastic? They look like they would work. The reason I like electrical tape is because it does not make any noise if it comses in contact with the interior of the guitar.

The fun always begins when you try to reach inside an F hole to secure the wires. Best to simply remove one of the pickups if possible...or call a pro.

I took the pic from the net... I think they are plastic, although I have seen also made out of some type of fabric.

About reaching inside the f holes.. Like I said, there's so much wire that I can easily take out enough to tie my shoes.... (well, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit)

Thanks again! I'll try first with tape.

A little piece of black electrical tape... it works...
Thanks Tim.
