No Mike, I had one a couple of years back but the neck was way too thin for me. Would have kept it otherwise as it sounded great. I have a 2629 now that is basically the same construction but has an Artist shape neck so a little bit more chunky.

So the issue was with the neck's feel, not tone? From experience, are you able to compare it vs. an AS-50?
