My upgraded Artcore, plus a question

There aren't strings on it right now because I am cleaning it. -removed pickguard -added GFS Liverpools -added cream pickup rings -added chrome barrel knobs http://www.evilrocknroll.net/artcore_01.jpg http://www.evilrocknroll.net/artcore_02.jpg My question is, have any of you ever tried to tack the bridge in place on one of these? Glue it on that...and the leather against the guitar won't slide. No it does not kill your tone.
