hey there everyone !
I'm lookin for some modern jazz standards, written by such jazz giants as Chick Corea, Dave Holland, John Scofield, Michael Brecker, Jack DeJohnette, Herbie Hancock .. looking for some contemporary jazz, u know ... so I need transcriptions or notes ... anything .. especially John Scofield's 'Works For Me' album - great songs, I'd like to play them.
I'd be really greatful for links to the songbooks or any other materials on the subject :-) thanks ! (sorry for my bad english !)

I have the real books vols 1-3 and Jazz LTD book in PDF format if you're interested. They're like 80MB each. Not much Scofield, but there's plenty of Hancock etc.

Hey Funkle

I could do with those too. My old real books are getting dog-eared and pages have been coming off the front and back one by one. Do you know a good way of sending them? A google search did not reveal a download site. I wonder why

There is a book of Scofield "time on my hand" CD that can be found on the web (pdf file).

I really like Mick Goodrick's "the advancing guitarist" guitar method (same origin)

In a different jazz approach, Ralph Towner's "Improvisation and technique for classical and.acoustic guitar" (ibid)
