hi all~

I want to know the Wood spec Of "jsm100"

Top and Side,back - Laminated Maple, May be... Maple+Rawan(Kind of Mahogany)+Maple+Birch ply.

Neck and Center block - What kind of Mohogany?... Hondurian? Indian? or African, Asian(Rawan)?

Loop, good question. Ibanez does not advertise (brag?) about its wood sources like other makers do. Could it be because they source from a variety of countries depending on price, availability and quality? I do not know, but like you, have always wondered about the mahogany, maple, rosewood and ebony used in their high end products over the years.

I recall reading Ibanez marketing blurbs in the 80's stating something like "...using only the finest materials available...".
