I'll have to pull the PUPs next time I change strings to see if they're Super 58's. The Gb30 PUPS have Super 58 stamped into the metal.
Here's the pics that were requested.

Super 58's in a Lawsuit? Nah, I think they're Super 70's or Maxons. Would need a close-up.

OK, so my test was not perfect. The wine red is a Gibson ES175T, the sunburst is a 57 Gibson ES350T w/PAFS.
I was refering to my 83 AM50 with the 3 holes in the upper part of the PUP rings as far as pulling them for identification. I have a clear picture of the rings I'll upload.

All I saw when I answered was a Lawsuit Byrdland.
But these two on the '83 AM50 are definitely Super 58's.

The pickup rings are not of this guitar, because the rubber ring around the jack output is BLACK.
They should all be black except for the selector switch cap, which should be cream with an angular edge (NOT ROUND as on a Gibson LP).

Thanks for the info. I'll pull the PUPS some day and let you know what I find. Bottom line, this guitar sounds great. The PUPS sound so clear, just like my AM300.
Obviously I'm new to Ibanez guitars and this site has been very helpful. Thanks for all the help.

An AM50 is a very nice sounding guitar and so comfortable to play! Stock pups are Super 58's.
