2454 WHATS THE STORY?

Well, Argus says 970 euros for the 2454, 1450 for the 2355 and 1670 euros for the 2355M. Should we trust that? If you look at the original 1977 pricelist, we see that the 2454 was originally a more expensive guitar. The 2355: $360.- The 2355M: $385. The 2454: $435.- http://www.noahjames.com/vintagepage/price.html The estimate on the 2355 and 2355M is pretty high if you've watched eBay a bit. So I'd say the argus estimate on the 2454 is pretty good, perhaps a bit on the low side. I guess between 900-1400 dollars is possible. Given the price of an AS200, it will probably stay below the $1400.- not because it's not good, but because there are more advanced alternatives with Super 58 pups instead of Super 70s. But that's always a matter of personal taste. This IS vintage and a collectors item, so it all depends on the competition. There are 6 bidders active at the moment and perhaps a few snipers. Dutch jazz guitarist Herbie Guldenaar has one in the colour Walnut. I checked the label. And there are no hidden anchor base holes in the body.
