AS, Artist, AM Veneer Headstock

Author Message Artfield Username: Artfield Registered: 04-2001 Posted on Friday, September 29, 2006 - 12:45 pm:    Dear Members, could you inform me where to get an Ibanez Veneer Headstock....compleet with the Ibanez Logo, and the ornament on it. Like the Artist, AM205/AS100,200 series. In one of the postings is saw a restoration of an artist and the person had the veneer headstock removed. Also a copy of the ornament could do the job too. maybe Petruz ahs an Idea he is a Photoshop master. As you know we are modding my AM66 and it would be nice to have that Ornament on the headstock. But I don't think you need a virtual veneer, do you? You could scan the veneer with a high resoution scanner and maybe print it... (god, this idea sucks). You could get the scannered ornament to an artisan and get it done for yoy... many €€€€€ though. Maybe in the USA, I remember reading something here in ICW about a guy who engraves fretboards.
