Took the pickups out and they are Super 58's but the rings must me USA, there's four extra hole for the mounting ring screws. Why do people do that?

Original on what? Not on this guitar! The originals were black, just like the ones on my 1983 AM50 and just like the ones in the catalogue!

You could try MrRoadstar aka The Bear. He would love to trade archtop rings against flattop rings for his Roadstars.
