I recently picked up an early 70's Ibanez 355 clone. It has the Varitone switch, was converted to a stop tailpiece, has the holes left over for the vibrola and new holes made for a Bigsby (I slapped on a spare Bigsby). It's a great player despite needing a refret and I'm loving it almost as much as my recently acquired Orville '58 neck 335. Slightly thicker neck than my 1976 Ibanez 355 which is a good thing.

One thing is puzzling me though: the pickups are stamped with '26519'. No other information on them. Anyone got any idea as to what pups these are? The 1976 355 has Super 70s in from memory.

Thanks,

Andy.
