I know this control plate from a solidbody, but never saw it on a semi-acoustic.
Harry and Hasy, are you still awake?
What's the model number of this one?

It's essentially a copy of an ES325, which was a G-brand budget 335 type made during the early 70s. In the case of this Ibanez model the difference is the fancy tailpiece which is used on 2374's (Gibson Rosewood Crest copies).

Hi all!

Damn! I missed this one!
When was it put on Ebay?
When I hit the above link the auction was over.
Itīs the model 2390 and as far as I can see in perfect and original condition. A collectorīs dream.
Is that buyer (Crest 647) one of our board members?

Reached a pretty high bid for a bolt on neck. Nice but nowhere near the quality of a real rosewood Gibson Crest model. Looks more like a rosewood stain finish than real rosewood grain to me.I would'nt touch a bolt on necked es335 style semi hollow, just my opinion.

That 325 copy didn't appear nearly as pretty as some of the Rosewood Crest Copies (2374's) I have seen. This 325 copy looks more like a "walnut stain" finish, like the instrument they were copying...

The 2374's are getting a lot more money these days - the whole Brazilian Rosewood obsession is driving the price of any guitar with Brazilian Rosewood bodies up beyond what we're used to seeing.
