I can tell you I recently sold mine for way more than the BIN:

Mine was mint. This one isn't. However, they're seldom seen on eBay. The BIN is now gone (thanks to an ICW member!) It will be interesting to see if it goes for more than then the original $450? BIN.

The "very low BIN" was already gone, when I clicked your second link. So I guess the seller visits ICW to see how we react on his ad.

Michael,
Your pearl white was exceptionally beautiful. But the last bid on Ebay didn't meet your reserve. I think that is because many guitarists (also among our members) don't know about the AM300 and AM400.
I spotted a white AM400 for the first time about 8 years ago when a friend of mine hand bought one and was playing it on a gig, and had a drawn picture of it in my 1988 pricelist. I went after another one, owned by some student with two addresses, who wasn't at the location of the guitar when I mailed and phoned him, agreed immediately on the asking price, but someone went there before me with 100 guilders less and took it. I guess the owner needed the money fast, took a train and closed the deal. I believe it was a sunburst.

I think you're the most specialized member on these types with only one f-hole.

I saw this one H905847 is a 1989 with the typical Terada "H" serial number.

Very original instruments, advanced design, simply beautiful. I'm still quite sick about this guy breaking his word. When it comes to this kind of things, I have a selective elephant's memory.

I originally posted the link incorrectly. The second link was the correct link. It's the one and only auction. The BIN is gone because the current bid price has met the auction's reserve. That's how eBay works. Once the reserve has been met, the BIN goes away.

I ended out selling mine through a private sale. I think not much is known about the AM300/400 because they're so hard to find.
