Yes the sound is a little compressed. Not bad though for a still camera with a video chip. Technology...amazing. Re: the VOX. Thankfully I was in the right place at the right time. When I handed over the cash, I was told the amp spent a lot of its early life at Abbey Road Studios in London. And as you get older the old grey matter starts to dissapear. Mine is the same colour as that one, but I don't have the HB in the bridge. They are very versatile guitars, lot's of tonal variations thanks to the S1 switching. The American Deluxe belongs to the lead vocalist. It's a really nice guitar and yeah pretty versatile. Love the pearl inlays on the fingerboard.
