Do they give the Asian factories inferior stuff to work with? I wonder how much it would cost to swap out the Asian bits and replace with USA bits. But I think the point ofr this is that all of these big companies that Ibanez copied are doing what Hoshino has been doing from the start only they are now naming the factories after the brand name. China will eventually raise their standard of living, and then manufacturing will move to central Africa or something. It's the natural cycle of economics. But, China is a very interesting case, because it's not a democratic country and thus big business remains concerned. OTOH, it's also got that huge population, just crying out for different crafts, like luthiery (is that a word?).
