Considering the hack job on the trem, they were asking too much IMO (then). The wood felt OK, but if I have to go begging for original parts everywhere it costs even more effort/time than restoring a Fender. So I print out and read the article, which gets me thinking, wow, I've always really liked Tokai's... So I start thinking, man, I've always wanted a Tokai bass, but I don't need another bass.
