I had a vintage Tokai strat in my hands a few years ago. Considering the hack job on the trem, they were asking too much IMO (then).
The wood felt OK, but if I have to go begging for original parts everywhere it costs even more effort/time than restoring a Fender.

Six, thanks a bunch for all the trouble you have caused. So I print out and read the article, which gets me thinking, wow, I've always really liked Tokai's... So I start thinking, man, I've always wanted a Tokai bass, but I don't need another bass. Then to further throw white gas on the fire, you post the Tokai website link. That was just too much, damned if I didn't go and find one. I still don't need another bass, this is all your fault!
