I recently found a smoking deal on an RG570. After repairing the tremolo post hole (wood was oval'd), it's become quite the player! I really like this guitar. The main reason I was attracted to it was because of the maple fretboard, which is somewhat of a rarity on these RG guitars.

Anyway, I'm thiking of having Sims Custom Shop give it a paint job. I think for ~160 dollars, he'll strip, prep, and paint the guitar body any color. Right now, it's very BLUE. Not really my favorite color. I'm thinking of a nice metallic black. My buddy and I could do this project ourselves, but for ~160-200 dollars, and a pro job... it might be worth paying someone else.

Anyway, I'm curious if anyone has experience with Sims Custom shop. I've seen some of his auctions and his website. His guitars look fantastic, but wanted to hear from someone first hand.

Thanks in advance!
-Brent
