There is a chance that a rep from Hoshino USA will be at the show for a short period of time. He'd like to meet up with ICW members. If it's definitely going to happen, I'll post the time and place to meet, here. Right now, early afternoon has been bandied about.

OK, it's time for everybody who is going to meet at the show on Sat., 25th to check in.

It looks like Paul Specht, the Director of Marketing for Hoshino USA and one of the motivating forces behind the Ibanez: The Untold Story book, can meet with ICW members around 2 pm. The exact location at the show to meet up is yet to be determined. Keep watching this thread.

If you are going to be there, please leave a message here with your preferred T-shirt size.

I am thinking of going to the show , I live in CT . Is it worth it, is it a prettybig show?. Also does anybody know if I were to take a train there how big a hassle woud it be to get to the show, I was thinking of this instead of driving and dealing with the NY/NJ traffic any help would be great.

Espn:

It's not NAMM, but it does attract a lot of the dealers you see adverting in the Vintage Guitar magazine.

The last few years there's been a lot of jazz players hanging around and playing in the lounge.

I don't have a clue about the trains, sorry. It would be a long trip though.

When I get some free time, I'll look into getting some more ICW T-shirts made up. But things are very busy right now, so it will be some time, yet.

Cool, no worries.

I'd come to the show if it were closer, or I happen to be in town.

Being a geek by nature, I'm always looking for the free t-shirts and swag :-) - but heck, I'd pay for an ICW t-shirt. I'm sure others would also. I really enjoy this site! Thanks for the hard work.

I had a ton of things to do yesterday so I had to change my schedule. I was there earlier in the morning and was out of there by 12:30.

Freak, I appreciate you thinking of me. I'll drop you a line during the week and we can make arrangements. Thanks.

I had a great time, too. Here's some pictures to start off.

This is CustomUSA (his mother likes to call him Gary :-)) holding his ST Custom. This guitar was very exciting to see. Hoshino provided the original order form for this guitar with all the specs documented.

Here's the ICW gang that met up with Paul Specht of Hoshino. Left to right: Paul, Gary, Brian, Me. (Jeff what happened to you?)

I'll post pictures of some of the guitars later.

OK, if you missed the Summer show, you've got another chance to come out to the Fall show and meet with me and Paul Specht of Hoshino, USA.

Paul and I will be meeting with anybody else who can make it, at 1:00 on Sat.

If you can definitely make it, let me know what your T-shirt size is.

Tubescorcher:

The tag on the RR400CS says $950 and the AM255 says $1200.

The Roadstar under the RR400 (no price tag) looks a lot like the one on ebay:

http://www.qksrv.net/click-1802666-10381315?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI .dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D7366008262

It wasn't really a cherryburst, though. I'd call it a lemonburst. My picture turned out redder than it looked in real life. Jeff Sailor wondered if it was refined.

I talked with the seller about the 255 and he would have taken $1000. It was a very nice specimen.

Thanks for the replies Guys!!! Was the seller local? I'm about 12 min. outside Philly on the Jersey side. I can't shell $950 for the V unless it was NOS condition, but the 255 I'd be interested in.
Thanks Again!

Kid I was there that day it looks like it says 500 usa dollars. Thats about right for that year. they have one at my local GC they want 899 for. A little steep in my opinion for the condition.

Kid... you're showing great taste, for one of such limited years!

I don't know what kind of condition the one Freak's talking about might be in, but $899 would be OK, for one in 8+ condition, these days, I'd think.
