And what a beautiful family it is!!!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that needs to spend more on strings than food

Tim, when I took these photos, I had a chance to play the ones I hadn't touched in a while.

For jazz I like the AG195 and AS200 - They both amaze me every time. The AS200 can rock too - real nice open sound.

For solid bodies, I like the SA1620 and SA1260 prestiges. The SA is a great "workhoarse" that can cover a lot of ground stylistically. and the SC amazes me with it's incredible build quality and articulate tone. The neck is my all time favorite too. The SV470 has a softer tone and feel, and is no slouch.

I'm spending time with the AR trying to decide if it for me or not. The sustain is amazing, and it has a very loose, easy feel. The tone it a little more soft and classic, like an LP. It's growing on me. It's too heavy though.

Strat nirvana has eluded me for a while now, I've tried a lot of guitars including actual strats, and many pickups. Yesterday, I rediscovered how friggin' great the 542R is. Very classy looking. It is kind of a softer strat. It has the defining strat character, but without the harsher qualities. It has by far the best sounding strat sized bridge PU I have heard. I was getting this wonderful compressed violin like tone from it. It doesn't get too funky or quacky though, and wouldn't cut through an aggressive band very well.
