Yeeow! I wasn't ready for that.

Anyway, for a '79 the hardware and pickups look great. Perfect for restoring another vintage GB10.

The body is good only for firewood.

Ouch! Saw a mid 50's Les Paul gold top that had suffered a similar fate. She had taken a hammer to it. Except with that one she managed to smash the neck to bits too.

Ouch and double ouch!

Reminds me of the condition of Artfield's AM205, before he "purpleized" it.

Why do women do this sort of thing? I guess it could be worse. They could take it out on your "clock set" while you're asleep

"Why do women do this sort of thing?"

Because they know what is dear to us :-)

Don't make them angry.

I hear it in a different way. Whenever I say no to clothing purchases I get the classic "what about all those guitars you buy?" But never has she smashed one!

"Clock set"... it's between your legs mate. Two balls and a pendulum. I was waiting for a query on that. It's a colloquialism from the east end of London.

When this guitar was cracked, hundreds of miles away at that very instant, George Benson felt a sharp pain in his side, so please treat these endorsed models well. Lord knows you don't want to snap the neck off a Pat Metheny model if you have tickets to see him the same day.
