This was an interesting read; especially the part about the guitar that he designed for Ibanez...

There is a picture of the "other" guitar that Luke designed here on the site. It's probably under the Roadstar section. I'm not talking about the 1010 model, I'm talking about something competely different.

In the pic. Luke is holding the guitar up.

If anyone here likes the sound Luke got with Toto on the early albums with his Les Paul and a Blackface Deluxe (think 'Rosanna' solo on Toto 4)then the amp mod he is talking about in the ineterview is a "stage 2" mod. Any decent amp tech should be able to convert your existing Deluxe(original not reissue) with a stage 2 mod. And it's reversable. I have the mod on my amp and Man it is killer!

Assuming someone has a Deluxe that is.

Here's a link to the thread showing Lukather's custom made guitar:

Wow, wouldn't that be cool guitar to "reissue"?

In the interveiw that Mrryte posted above, it appears that Luke may still own this guitar (although the interview is a bit old now).

Perhaps we can get Luke to join the forum.
