Guys,

Thought you might be interested to hear my friends recording of "Sweet Shaun Alexander" in the style of Sweet Home Alabama.

http://www.sweetshaun.com - there's 2 versions on there. One "Live" version and one demo. I hope he gets time this week to re-record it for Pittsburg.

Superbowl we're going TO!!! First time in our teams history!!!

Even a grilled seahawk will be more than the Steelers could chew I think. Getting by the Bengals, the Colts and the Broncos were not easy and it must have taken quite a bit out of the Steelers.

Should be a good game.

I'm pulling for the purveyors of the "Terrible Towels" (Steelers), even though I live on California's west coast.

Looking forward to sitting on the couch with friends, passing guitars back and forth during the game.

I'm just pissed off 'cause my Panthers didn't even show up for the game!

I used to root like hell for the 'Hawks back in the days of Jim Zorn and Steve Largent. But this year, I'm hoping the Steelers rip 'em a new one.

Hold it,Enough about the Steelers. I live about 1/2 mile from Cincinnati, and if you don't know, there is a HUGE rivalry between The Bengals and the Steelers, especially since they hurt our star QB, and cost us a win in the playoffs. So GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!!!

I hope guys get to eat crow, er 'Hawk !!!

FYI: I'm 200 miles from Seattle and 3000 miles from Charlotte. Geography has nothing to do with my choice of teams to root for.

Go Steelers !!

Superbowl prediction. Hawks win it by 4 points.

And remember, the Superbowl makes a great time to snipe eBay auctions.

After watching yet another pathetic season by my Niners I'm just looking for a quality game. Pitt should win but I have a funny feeling that the 'Hawks may pull it off. I'm in the middle of the cold from Hell so I won't be attending the party I was supposed to. Just pluckin' the Martin on the couch and hoping my number's hold up at each quarter's end.

Halftime report: Steelers up 7-3. But it looks like it could eaisly go either way.

Aretha and Aaron Neville were outdone by Horatio Sanz and Kenan Thompson the night before on SNL.

I'm sure it's sacrilegious to say something negative about the Stones, but I wasn't impressed.

Yeah, when we make it to the Superbowl again, I hope we can get some decent Officials. There were some really bad calls from those referee's.

No congrats for me. My team was taken out by Seattle two weeks ago.

Funny how only the losers bitch about the refs...

Yeah, you're right. We should have played through the calls. Steelers won it and we made some mistakes that did cost us the game.

At the end of the day, it was cool to see our team make it to Detroit. I'm sure the excitement will carry over into next season.

Well, from the replays I saw, I'm not convinced Rothlisberger's TD was legit. But it was soooooo close somebody had to call it one way or another. Glad that wasn't on my shoulders!

On the other hand, the "gadget" play and throw by Randall El was pure perfection. Seattle got to the 1 yard line twice, only to screw themselves back to the boonies and then miss the field goals. The receivers were great at stepping out of bounds earlier in the game (missing TD opportunities) but couldn't stop the clock for nothing at the end.

I'd say Seattle lost the game for themselves. Even if you took 7 points off, Pittsburg still would have won.

The offensive pass interference call was a joke. The contact made in the endzone did not create any separation between the two. Add one for the Seahawks, and take away Big Ben's TD, and maybe, but oh well at least the Bus gets his championship.

With all of the money the NFL makes, isn't it time for FULL TIME OFFICIATING? These guys are part time workers for heavens sake...and it is the SUPERBOWL.

I'm glad the Steelers won, but the calls by the refs. were off the mark in my opinion.

Now everyone goes through withdrawal for a few months, until next season starts.

But seriously folks...

"A man had 50 yard line tickets for the Super Bowl. As he sits down, a man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him. "No," he says, "The seat is empty."

"This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?"

He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she
passed away. This is the first Super Bowl we haven't been to together since we got married in 1987."

"Oh...I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. But couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?"

The man shakes his head. "No they're all at the funeral."
