After using the TonePort UX1 for a while, I have to say I'm not impressed. I still haven't been able to remedy the loud clicking in the headphones. And the tone seems to be very week and muffled.

I get much more presence and clarity by recording through my M-Audio USB Duo, either direct or from the line level out on my amp. For now I'm stuck with the amp/speaker sims in Garage band, but I'm pretty much thinking that no software amp/speaker sim is going to sound that great.
