I wanted to let everyone know that ICW has joined the YourMusic.com affiliate program. You may have noticed the graphic link in the left hand menu, it's sandwiched between the MusiciansFriend.com and GearTree.com links. If you can't see these links, then try turning off your web browser's Ad Blocker features (you can probably do this on a site by site basis).

YourMusic.com is a $5.99 per month subscription service that enables you to receive at least one CD of your choice, every month. So, if you've been looking to expand your CD collection, perhaps because you've heard good things about some Artists or bands on the ICW board, this is a great way to get CDs sent directly to you.

When you subscribe, you are obligating yourself to $5.99 a month, which is the price of one CD (two disc sets are $11.98; three disc sets, like Yes' 35th Anniversary release are $17.97).

You select which CDs to be sent each month by filling up a Music Queue (a "want" list). Each month, they send you the next CD in your Music Queue. Delivery is by USPS and there are no shipping charges (unless you want to pay extra for faster service).

Beware! You will be charged $5.99 even if you don't have a CD in your Music Queue. So, just keep your list full. If your Queue is empty, they will send you email reminders that you should do something about it before you waste the month's payment. And you can cancel at anytime.

What if you really want a particular CD and don't want to wait for the next month's installment? You can order any CD from their selection (still only $5.99) and have it sent, immediately. Pretty flexible!

YourMusic.com doesn't have every CD, but they do have a good selection. I searched and found CDs by the following artists, who have been mentioned on this board:

Eric Clapton, Cream, George Benson (very good selection!), Pat Metheny, Norman Brown, Grateful Dead (Skeletons From the Closet only) and Yes.

Of course, when you use the link on the left to start a YourMusic.com subscription, you are helping to financially support ICW with a small commission. NOTE: If you have any problems with seeing or using the link provided, send me an email and I'll supply you with a link that will assure that ICW receives the proper commission credit.}
