I have a set of Schaller Tuners,and i cant find any info. on them.Does Schaller have their own web site? i couldnt find it on google, couldnt find my tuners anywhere.Description,Black/w a Chrome center piece that has a Schaller logo,and made in W.Germany inscribed. Also has a 12:1 ratio.They might be older tuners- maybe 80ish ?????

I know them because I've got them laying in the drawer. I took them of a broken old spanish guitar of my cousin Harry's (yet another one) German wife. She had them installed as replacements on the side of the slotted headstock.

According to my friend and luthier Harry, Schaller tuners are the best. Schallers (but not the nylon ones) are OEM on several top guitars. And there are never troubles with them. But I must say, I'm also very satisfied with Gotohs and old Grovers.

Prices are from about $52-100 at Stewmac (cheaper if you buy 3 or more sets). I didn't see the light nylons at www.stewmac.com but they are €35.90 in Germany.

Ginger ! They look almost exactle like the tuners in the schaller link you posted,except the tuners i have are all metal.The stewmac link is very interesting ill have to place an order w/ them!I have an Epiphone Les Paul i need to do some refinishing on.I had no idea where to start looking.Ill prob. grab a book on refinishing and some stains from stewmac Thanks again!
