When I have had customers bring guitars for setups etc and they are covered in sweat etc,I use the Maguires Cleaner wax first then the Wet Look polish to finish off with. (I saw the kit for €52,- at Feedback but they didn't mention Meguire's, but I saw the Meguire's ad in the Fender catalogue). I might pay some extra money, because two brands are involved. One of my friends/luthiers uses COMMANDANT. If you are restoring havy finish damage you can use nr. 4. For light scratches you better use nr. 5. If you want to use Turtle Wax, you better take the Metallic version (the blue bottle), which is even safer. For maintenance I use Martin guitar polish. Go to www.meguiars.com I've been using their products on my cars and guitars for 20 years. Its the best stuff I have ever used. Hmmmm, cars, guitars, I wonder if any wimmen would improve their lustre with a good Meguiars buff job too??
