I was just reading a axeology on Rik Emmit from '81 and it mentions that his only double neck in his touring gear was a Ibanez but I can't remember any of the old Triumph shows that well(it must have been the bar across the street from our arena)so I was wondering if anybody knows what he used, was it a 70's,a custom,etc...even better who has a pic?

Chris, I don't know what doubleneck Rik used back in '81, but I just thought I would mention how cool it is to see that anyone even remembers Triumph at all! Rik's guitar playing still "pushes" me even today. (not to mention his vocals.) I was so happy when I finally learned "Midsummers Night (or is it Day?) Dream from Guitar for the Practicing Musician. Man, thoughs were the days of the really great guitar bands. (Pat Travers, Rush, Frank Marino, etc.) If I find out anything I will let you know. Good luck in your search.

It's,,"midsummer's night daydream", from the LP, Thunder Seven. have seen Triumph 3 or 4 times. The one time i did see a doubleneck was a white Double-cutaway (gibson es-175 type), Mostly remember his (then signature) Dean Flying V. Great band, great show's. Where has heavy-metal gone too..Marcus
