Hello all!
Hasy and I are very busy at this moment updating the http://www.ibanez-vintage-page.de site. I can tell you: it will please you all, because we got many new scans from old catalogues! With a little luck we can offer you the complete package from 1968 until 1979 (the copy-era). Thanks to the kind cooperation of people in Holland and Austria we hope to get re-started in about a few month.
However: we still miss any information about the Challenger series and the Silver series, since we still didn't come across any material/info/flyers or catalogues on these particular guitars. Can anybody give us some info about the years they were produced, why they differ from the ordinairy models, what the reason was to bring out these series (tribute?). Are they better then the regular guitars? Was different material/wood used? Special pickups, maybe? Any info we might use to complete the whole story on the copy-era is very, very welcome!
Greetings from Holland,
Harry

Harry,as for the Challengers look under replicas for the Challenger topic.I posted some info I got from Michael Wright while researching mine.Other than a few other models he mentions in the new Vintage Guiter mag it's the only information I have ever been able to get.It seems they never made it to any catalogs, only price lists.
