This is an awesome hand made guitar of a super high caliber! The craftsmanship is superior to any thing made on an assembly line and better than that made in most custom shops!!! I saw Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown play a BLUES GUITAR about two years ago. Also I've heard that the following guitarist also own a "BLUES GUITAR": _CLARENCE "GATEMOUTH" BROWN _ERIC CLAPTON _OTIS RUSH _ROY GAINS _JOHN SCOFIELD _LITTLE MILTON _MICK TAYLOR _SHUN KIKOTA _HAROLD WHERRY _CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE _ROBERT LOCKWOOD JR. I've never seen a one piece pickup surround like that. Is there a reason why it's so large? Is there a large cavity under it? Is only the top wing hollow? Is the back control cover matching maple or painted plastic? The tailpiece, the pickguard...tons of very original design in this puppy! Can I ask how much something like this goes for? Features: 9 2000 ONG, Semi-hollow. 3 way pickup selector, 2 mini-humbuckers, guitar comes in two sizes, large and medium body. Chickenhead knobs. Pau Ferro Fretboard. Guitar is solid red. Beautiful pearloid binding. Gold hardware. Body-style is much like a Rickenbacker. The coolest feature of this guitar is the wooden escutcheon. Behind it is a gold colored mirror, and the wood is sculpted out to reveal the mirror, in the shape of a crawfish. Way cool! Way blues! Sound: 10 Bought the guitar for blues, jazz tones. But this thing smokes on rock!... Overall Rating: 9 I would have to give the guitar a 9. ....
