OK, now that I've gotten your attention :)

no I'm not talking about David Gilmore (although I have seen him playing something other than a Strat).

VH1 has been airing a Legends of Rock episode that features PF and Syd Barrett. The very first guitarist in the band was a schoolmate who's last name is Close. He was demonstrating what he and Barrett were playing in the early days with a small bodied semi-acoustic. The shape of the top horns immediately caught my attention. A couple of minutes later the shot included the whole guitar and there was the distinctive Ibanez logo. There was with no other ornamentation on the headstock, was a bound dot neck and brown burst in color, so I'm thinking it was an AS50.

Anybody else catch this show?
